สำหรับภารกิจนายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรีและรมว.คลัง ในการลงพื้นที่ภาคเหนือ หลังเสร็จสิ้นภารกิจที่จ.เชียงราย และเดินทางพักค้างคืนที่จ.เชียงใหม่ เมื่อวันที่ 15 ก.ย.นั้น เมื่อเวลา 10.00 น.ที่จ.เชียงใหม่ นายกฯเดินทางไปยังจุดแรกตรวจเยี่ยมพร้อมรับฟังรายงานความคืบหน้าโครงการอุโมงค์ผันน้ำเพื่อติดตามการบริหารจัดการน้ำด้านการเกษตร และการอุปโภคบริโภค ณ โครงการส่งน้ำและบำรุงรักษาเขื่อนแม่กวงอุดมธารา ต.ลวงเหนือ อ.ดอยสะเก็ด
